Agility Seminars & Workshops

Seminars (at your facility): Kelly has been a professional educator for over 10 years and now she’s available to teach a handful of seminar weekends per year for agility facilities and clubs beyond the Portland, OR area. She’s best known for her clear, engaging style of teaching, level-appropriate sequence challenges, and her ability to personalize learning experiences for each team’s unique needs. Please email kelly@extracreditagility.com if you’re interested in hosting Kelly at your club or facility.

Workshops (Portland Metro area): We offer workshops a few times per month to help dog/handler teams fine-tune their skills and strengthen their bond as a team. Workshops are limited to small groups of five (5) teams and include customized learning materials to enhance your training long after the workshop.

UKI Judging & Custom Training Course Designs

UKI Judging and/or Course Design: Kelly became a certified UKI judge in late 2025. She’s now accepting judging assignments for 2027 through 2029 (maximum 5 judging weekends per year). Email kelly@extracreditagility.com to inquire about availability and request course maps from previous trials she’s judged.

Custom Training Course Designs: Don’t you just love the small space sequence challenges and training courses shared on our Facebook page? We’d be happy to discuss custom course design options for your facility as well! Kelly’s specialties include:

  • Small space sequences and/or skill-specific sequences

  • AKC training courses (with fully nested Novice/Master or Premier options available)

  • “ISC-esque” training courses (25-40 numbers; Levels 1-3)

  • Designer/judge-specific courses (Kelly analyzes 10-15 examples of a particular designer’s courses then creates an original training course featuring the most common challenges favored by the designer/judge)

Nonverbal Communication Handbook for Agility Handlers: Drawing upon her experiences as a national speech & debate champion and 10+ years of teaching communication studies classes, Kelly’s excited to write a communications handbook exclusively for dog sports handers. More details to come as we get closer to our publication date (mid-2027).
